Klay Thompson is one of the NBA’s most pure shooters to have ever graced the court. Despite primarily operating off the ball, Thompson presents a compelling argument for being the second-greatest shooter behind Stephen Curry. However, an ongoing quandary revolves around him and the Golden State Warriors. Like a similar situation to Draymond Green this off-season, it revolves around Thompson’s availability for the Warriors. Klay is in the final year of his contract and will be a free agent at the end of the 2023-24 NB season.
Recently, Klay himself addressed his contractual situation while reassuring fans that it won’t become a problem. Furthermore, he emphasized his desire to maintain his focus on the game. Nevertheless, with little substantial information emerging on the matter, fans are speculating on various potential scenarios. Notably, a former finals MVP with the Warriors now shares his insights on the matter.
