Amid Damian Lillard’s Deferred Heat Talks, Jimmy Butler Flies 3,531 Miles to Relish European Village for a Peculiar Game

The Miami Heat surprised everyone last season when they reached the NBA Finals. On their way to the finals, the Heats defeated title favorites Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics. It was a true underdog story and showed the world the power of elite mentality and hard work. Jimmy Butler was the star who led the Heats to the NBA Finals and this offseason he has taken a much-deserved vacation.

Butler recently flew to Europe for a vacation. And there he would enjoy a game that many people don’t associate NBA stars with.

Jimmy Butler on a Deserved Vacation

The Miami Heat star player is enjoying the offseason like no other NBA player. During the offseason, Jimmy Butler was seen supporting USA’s Tennis star Coco Guaff at the US Open. Coco Guaff won the US Open and credited Butler for changing her mentality. She said this in a recent interview with Bleacher Report, “But realistically, the two weeks between Wimbledon and the next tournament I played, nothing could have really changed that much. It was really just the mental thing. I think that’s what I learned from watching Jimmy [Butler] compete over the years”.

After the US Open, Jimmy has flown across the Atlantic to the beautiful city of London. In the latest post by Butler on Instagram, he could be seen challenging Londoners to a game of ‘Dominoes’. He seemed pretty enthusiastic about playing the game. Dominoes is a game many people don’t associate NBA players with, but Jimmy Butler is not like any other NBA player.

Will Dame Join Butler at the Heats

The Heats were very close to winning their 4th title in franchise history. The Heats have reached two finals in just four years and the only superstar on their roster in those four years was Jimmy Butler. Pat Riley needs to provide Butler with more star-quality help if he is to bring the 4th NBA title to the ‘Vice City’.

Damian Lillard could provide the push that the Heats need so badly. Miami is the preferred destination of the disgruntled star. But the talks have deferred between the two parties as the Heats don’t have sufficient trade capital that the Blazers might be interested in. It is anyone’s guess as to where Dame might end up, but it will be a sight to behold if Dame and Butler lift the NBA title together. There are no two stars that deserve to win the title more than Dame and Jimmy Buckets. Will Dame get his wish?
