How did Houston beat the defending champions?

Houston pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the season by beating Nikola Jokic and Co. And it was only possible because of the incredible team performance by the Rockets. Apart from Sengun’s early game heroics, three Rockets players scored over 15 points. NBA “villain” Dillion Brooks had a solid 16-point outing. Jalen Green and Fred VanVleet dominated the scoreboard, combining for 51 points.

The Rockets also shut down the Nuggets’ offense, limiting them to 106 points. No player on the Nuggets roster scored more than 23 points, leading to an easy win for the Rockets. The Houston Rockets have shown great promise this season, and they might even make some noise in the playoffs if they get there.
