Edwards became a star at Therrell, leading the team to two state championships. He quickly became the top prospect in the country. Edwards decided to stay close to home, choosing to play for the University of Georgia.?
Making his mark in Minnesota
Selected as the #1 draft pick by the Timberwolves, he quickly became the star player for the team. In his second season with the team, he averaged 21.3 points per game as a leading scorer. Minnesota made it to the playoffs ever since 2018. Just last season he was averaging 31.6 points against Denver in the playoffs.
