Kendrick Perkins, on the show ‘NBA Today’, seemed pretty excited and impressed by Giannis Antetokounmpo. As the others discussed the aforementioned Instagram post, Kendrick had something else in mind, and when asked to, he did speak his mind.
He said, “This organization, the front desk, and the ownership group, have done everything they could to put the pieces around Giannis and make sure they protect Giannis. Look, they have a new area. They have built a new one downtown. It is almost like the effect LeBron had on Cleveland. When LeBron went to Cleveland, we know how restaurants opened, and people were getting employed. This is the same effect that Giannis Antetekoumnpo will have on the city of Milwaukee.”
Kendrick Perkins is well-known for his controversial statements and opinions about NBA players, present and past. A while ago, fans ripped him apart for saying that a current NBA player was now in the prime of his career.
