The Los Angeles Sparks and the Washington Mystics engaged in a hard-fought game that came down to the wire. With 32 seconds remaining, Sparks’ guard, Layshia Clarendon, attempted to drive to the paint for a layup. However, she was met by the 29-year-old Mystics guard, Brittney Sykes, right outside the restricted area. Sykes intended to foul the driving 5’9 guard, but this led to an ugly brawl between the two WNBA stars, eventually causing two ejections. However, yet another fight came in soon after.

The Chicago Sky faced off against the Dallas Wings in a highly anticipated matchup. With both teams doing impressively well in the standings, this game ensured some high-voltage action. However, an ugly fight derailed the thrill of the game. A veteran analyst recently spoke about this very incident.

There was an incident in Chicago between Odyssey Sims and Dana Evans where Dana was going for the ball, Odyssey was defending her….and it looked like Odyssey did something crazy with her arms and Dana didn’t like that much…and confronted her about it and then you can start to see players coming off the bench” said Terrika Foster-Brasby, narrating the ugly scuffle.

She further mentioned, “Ruthie Hebert came off the bench actually ended up being suspended for leaving the bench“.

There were other players who were trying to leave the bench area as well to try to break these two up and one of which was Courtney Williams”,?she explained, how Williams got into the mix of this fiasco.

She further added “Now, I just want to say you know, if you’ve been following the women’s basketball for the last few years, you may have heard Courtney Williams name and some off-season out-of-season incidents….but what I want you to pay attention to is how Courtney Williams has played and how she has been since that incident“.

Foster-Brasby also explained how Sky’s center, Elizabeth Williams, came to Courtney Williams’ rescue. “During that incident, Elizabeth Williams, the next day….brought attention to the portrayal of Courtney Williams in an incident that really didn’t have much to do with her….
