While the Sixers displayed a prominently staggering performance, the Celts had the last laugh in the game. The score stood at 107-117 by the end, with the 2 Celtics players grabbing major laurels.

Are Jrue Holiday and Derrick White the best defensive backs in the league at this point? The question was raised recently and was supported by former NBA star Jay Williams. The former Chicago Bulls Point Guard hailed Holiday and White for their strong efforts in defeating a strong team. In an X (formerly Twitter) post by ‘Get Up’, Williams’ praise was put up.

Williams said that Holiday and White are the best defensive backcourts in the league at this moment. He also said, “Derrick White and Jrue Holiday are tearing up the league.” The two have really been putting in mammoth efforts for their team. In the Sixers match, Holiday scored 18 points, with 10 rebounds, and 3 assists. White scored a whopping 27 points, with 5 assists, and 3 rebounds. Impressive right? And they are keeping this up day in, day out.

Jrue Holiday’s stint with the Celtics

Having played well for the Milwaukee Bucks, Jrue Holiday received a blow at the dying moments of this season’s transfers though. He was eventually traded to the Trail Blazers as a part of the Lillard trade. The Trail Blazers quickly traded him to his current team. Things might have been tough for him, to cope up in three different environments within such a short period.
