Reese just signed a cheque for $12,000 in the name of St. Frances Academy, her high school in Baltimore, Maryland. This donation will directly assist high school basketball players with their tuition costs. She achieved a full-circle moment with the donation, as Reese herself received similar assistance while she was a student there.
It was Reese’s mother who broke the news through Twitter. She wrote, “Today @Reese10Angel donated 12k to @SFA1828 to cover the tuition expenses of a @LadyPantherBbal this coming school year. This is the same fund that covered Angel?s tuition all 4 years as a student at SFA?.
Reese then took to Instagram to break the news to her 3 Million followers. She?shared an Instagram post of her mother’s tweet on her story.

While speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, she said, “I hope that there will be more teams, so that everybody has an opportunity, because there are so many great players; and they currently only have 144 (roster spots) in the league. I want the WNBA to grow. So hopefully, by the time I and Caitlin Clark and all these other players go out, there will be opportunities for others to get on a team”.
