Among the three players sent to the Brooklyn Nets was Mikal Bridges. Bridges had a spectacular stint in Phoenix before his trade to the Nets. However, the player he was traded for turned out to be his favorite player growing up, Kevin Durant.

After his trade to the Nets, Bridges revealed that he indeed idolized Durant before entering the NBA. Interestingly, in a recent podcast appearance, Bridges revealed a personal detail about his life after competing in the NBA.

Bridges recently appeared on Podcast P with Paul George. Talking to the 8-time All-Star, Bridges stated “I think when I’m done playing, that’s like a thing I want to do, like second-grade teaching?“.

George responded, “No you not bro, you about to be a $400, $500 player, you not about to be no teacher bruh“.

However, Bridges reinstated his plan. He said, “My friends say it too but a lot of them. They fake believe me and they are on your side too. The kids come in and the teacher do all the handshakes with each one and s**t like that…“.

Bridges may be a star in Brooklyn but after he is done competing, he has a humble plan for himself. The 26-year-old may be among All-Star buzz right now, but he is still a wholesome person off the court. However, as of now, Bridges still has a lot to do.
