A Spanish Basketball star, who makes his acting debut as Bo Cruz, is a promising basketball prospect with a rough history. As an actor, he gives one of the film’s best performances. Anthony Edwards, the Minnesota Timberwolves’ explosive scoring guard, plays Kermit Wilts in “Hustle”. Wilts is the adversary, continuously getting under the skin of Bo Cruz, played by Juancho Hernangomez. In an unexpected turn of events, the film’s plot puts these two outstanding basketball players against each other. Cruz, like Hernangomez, is from Spain and is a talented basketball prospect. Cruz’s adventure in the film begins when he gets noticed by Stanley Sugerman, played by Sandler, during a pickup game as Sugerman scouts potential overseas.

Cruz’s life is one of missed opportunities and unfulfilled goals. He possessed all the abilities required to become a basketball phenomenon as a youngster. But it dashed his dreams of playing in the United States when he found out his girlfriend was now pregnant. Despite his talent, Cruz comes off as sensitive and hot-headed. On the other hand, his opponent, Kermit Wilts (played by Anthony Edwards), poses a stiff challenge that threatens to wreck his NBA hopes.
