Amidst the “good trade or not” debate ensuing for the newly traded Milwaukee guard, the night was not a pleasant one. After the win in the regular-season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers, the team seemed hung over the victory.
However, the spectacular performance by the Atlanta Hawks humbled the star players on the home court. Just when the Bucks’ dear player, Jrue Holiday, was traded off, the acquisition of Lillard was not a suitable move, according to NBA fans. However, Damian somehow pulled off a whopping 39-point score in the first regular-season match.
The Atlanta Hawks made Lillard just register a tally of 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. The point guard had a 2/12 shooting from the field tonight. Although Giannis Atentokuonmpo played for the entire team, the score was still not in rhythm. In a post-game interaction, Lillard explained how he needed to improve.
He said, “You know we’re not playing a good game; it’s going. It can be that way, you know.
