After Francis Ngannou‘s impressive performance against Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua was certainly an option for ‘The Predator’. However, the former UFC fighter did not publicly state his interest in ‘AJ’. Meanwhile, Joshua took on Otto Wallin, hoping to face Deontay Wilder next.

However, since Wilder lost to Joseph Parker in his last fight, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn suggested ‘AJ’ found interest in Francis. Soon, Hearn took to X and confirmed that ‘AJ’ vs. Ngannou was a done deal. Following Hearn’s exciting announcement, Ngannou recently flaunted his ripped body in Spain while hyping up his upcoming press conference in London ahead of his fight against AJ in Saudi Arabia.

Ahead of the bout in March, Ngannou is training hard to receive his first victory in pro boxing. As a result, ‘The Predator’ is currently in superb shape. On that note, Ngannou recently took to Instagram and shared a few pictures of his jacked physique, posing on the streets of Barcelona, Spain. In one photo, the fighter is completely bare-bodied and one can see the veins on his scary physique. In other pictures, Francis is seen wearing a warm jacket.

Ngannou and Joshua will have their press conference on January 15 in London. Likewise, he captioned the post, “The fun is just getting started, see you all in London #JoshuaNgannou.” Although carrying the body of a monster, in two of the photos that Ngannou shared, the fighter is seen smiling and happy. In this context, it is safe to say that like Ngannou we are also extremely excited to see him battle ‘AJ’ in the ring. With “fire”, Anthony Joshua will confront Ngannou in the ring

According to Hearn, over time, Joshua has become wiser in the sport. As per his observation, following the back-to-back victories against Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, and Otto Wallin, ‘AJ’ has “rediscovered his confidence and the fire in his belly, the nastiness.” Likewise, Eddie believes Joshua is the most difficult challenge Ngannou will deal with. In his opinion, Joshua has all the qualities to win if only restrains himself from “going in gung-ho against Ngannou” and trading blindly.
