With an impressive performance against Dillon Danis, Logan Paul finally won his first boxing match. Although Danis lost via disqualification, fans and critics could not help but appreciate the way ‘The Maverick’ handled the dirty game plan of Danis. Following this victory over Danis, the 28-year-old took pride in his skills and called his opponent a demon he exorcised.
Recently, retired UFC fighter Chael Sonnen offered a detailed analysis of Paul vs. Danis. Besides lauding Paul’s boxing skills, Sonnen appreciated the manner in which ‘The Maverick’ promoted Prime Drink. As per Sonnen, there is something special about Paul that even makes him different from the CEO of a $228.71B-worth company. Well, here’s what Sonnen said.

According to Chael Sonnen, Logan Paul made apt use of his reach advantage against Dillon Danis. In his opinion, since Paul fought with basic punches, he was significantly more effective than his opponent. “Paul was throwing 1s and 2s. And he threw them to the head and he threw them to the body. If he could throw a one and he could touch you, then he would throw a two. And I love that. I mean that’s just good boxing. That’s just good fighting,” said Sonnen.
According to Sonnen, his coach Clayton Hires would instruct the former UFC fighter to fight the way Paul did. In this context, the 46-year-old even praised how ‘The Maverick’ changed levels and attacked both the head and the midsection of Danis repeatedly. As per Sonnen, it was intelligent of Paul to avoid hooks and other fancy punches. In addition, the retired mixed martial artist felt Paul was impressively quick. “I turned to my wife and said, ‘This guy’s fast’. The Pauls are such good athletes,” he stated. Along these lines, Sonnen, who tore apart KSI, finally lauded the manner in which Paul promoted Prime with this fight.

Sonnen thinks ‘The Maverick’ is different from the CEO of Coca-Cola, Budweiser, or Coke
Since Logan Paul owns properties and “got money,” Sonnen believes ‘The Maverick’ needs not fight. In his opinion, besides the desire to promote Prime, his energy drink, it is for fun that Paul is stepping inside the ring. Likewise, apart from praising Paul’s spirit, Sonnen lauded the former’s “marketing play for Prime” in light of ‘The Maverick’ vs. Danis. As Per Sonnen, the fact that Paul decided to fight someone to promote his drink makes him different from the CEO of the $228.71B-worth company Coca-Cola.
“I mean this was really about a marketing play for Prime. There’s plenty of drinks out there. The CEO of Coca-Cola, Budweiser, or Coke anybody go out and box a way of marketing. But, he’s kind of a special thing,” concluded Chael Sonnen happily. Following the fight with Danis, although Paul looked forward to returning to WWE, he expressed that he was not done with boxing. Likewise, given Chael Sonnen’s praise, we can only expect ‘The Maverick’ will become a better boxer. And while there may be plenty of drinks, with Paul’s dedication, we hope he will achieve envious heights with Prime. Anyway, what did you think of Sonnen’s analysis?
