Sean Strickland can’t stand Jake Paul. The former UFC champion couldn’t withstand the fact that the American boxer would clash with a 30-year older Mike Tyson. The MMA fighter was not short on scathing jabs and went on a verbal outrage. What’s more? He issued a grim warning to ‘The Problem Child’.
‘Tarzan’, called a “psychopath” by Sean O’Malley and Daniel Cormier in the past for his actions such as breaking into a fight in the stands at UFC 296, didn’t shy away from unloading his critical jabs at Paul. Paul recently announced the fight with ‘Iron Mike’, scheduled for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. However, the fight has met with severe criticism. While some label it a money grab, others believe it is a mismatch. Strickland also favors a similar thought and believes the upcoming fight between the two is distasteful. In addition, the 33-year-old minced some choice words for Paul. What did he say?

Strickland, at 28-6, when asked by The Schmo about Tyson vs. Paul, had a candid response. He laid bare his intentions to murder Paul and how he felt disgusted by the YouTuber-turned-boxer. Moreover, the Anaheim native revealed that if they ever met in real life, he would hurt him and go to prison.
Strickland said, “I wanted to f***ing murder Jake Paul. It’s bullsh*t, man. I mean, how old is Mike Tyson? 60? Jake Paul, you are a disgrace of a man. You are the epitome of weakness, the sc*m of the Earth.”
“The fact that you even have a platform or anything of that nature is a slight on society. You truly make me f***ing disgusted. If I ever encounter you in real life, I just hope I don’t lose my s*** and go to prison,” the middleweight fighter added.
This is not the first time Strickland has targeted the Cleveland native. He has previously criticized Paul for his choice of opponents and for disrespecting the sport. Earlier this month, he called shots at Paul as the latter fought and defeated Ryan Bourland.
Strickland called Paul a clown
The #1 middleweight fighter had turned to his X handle and disclosed that he was unaware that Paul had fought another inactive fighter. He only learned about Paul’s fight when Sam Alvey tagged him. He then mockingly asked whether it was hard to fight a retired fighter. In addition, he questioned the pay his opponents received for fighting and eventually losing to him.
