MMA Legend ‘The Predator’ Don Frye Gives His Take on Nate Diaz vs Jake Paul Outcome

Recently, an MMA legend weighed in on his thoughts about the fight. He revealed what he believes will happen when these two lock horns on the night of August 5th.

MMA legend Don Frye recently made his pick for the fight between Diaz and Paul. Frye is one of the earlier UFC champions, famous for his sensational and relentless fighting style. While talking about the fight, he revealed how conditioning will play an important role in the fight, as the two will now go against each other for ten rounds.

Frye believes Nate Diaz has the conditioning

In an interview with InsideFighting, Frye opened up about the challenge Paul will face when he steps inside the boxing ring against Diaz. ‘The Predator’ remained honest about the role Diaz’s experience will play in going  10 rounds against the YouTuber turned boxer.

When asked about his pick for the upcoming fight, the 57-year-old said, “I got Diaz, Diaz is my boy Nate’s gonna whoop him.” Further talking about the conditioning for the fight, he added, “Nate’s got the condition. I mean he can’t out-condition Nate, He’s got the technique and the knowledge.”

Notably, during his professional career, Frye was known as ‘the caveman.’ And when asked about the relevance of the title to Diaz, he joked, “He’s still struggling trying to make fire. “ The legend made it clear that Diaz has the upper hand going into this fight against Paul. And, it will not be easy for the Ohio sensation to exchange hands against the former UFC icon.

Frye was known for his ferocity inside the octagon. But, one fight which stood out in his professional career was his bout against Japanese MMA fighter Yoshihiro Takayama. The fight is a display of what hunger for glory looks like. It is a testament to the true fighting spirit of these two fighters.

The fight shows the immense power the two fighters had. It also displays the brutality and relentless nature of both fighters and is touted as one of the greatest fights ever. Notably, Frye was the one who walked out victorious after a sixth-round knockout.
