Terence Crawford has been in the boxing ring since 2008 now. From his amateur days through to his pro-boxing victories, he has built a legacy. This legacy stems from his determination to remain undisputed in the sport and through life. An undisputed boxer in the Welterweight division now, ‘Bud’ can be called the best fighter on the planet after he unified all the titles in the weight division on July 29th.

The historic fight he dominated against Errol Spence Jr. will go down to be the fight that heralded the global domination of Bud. And Zab Judah seems to agree. It is not a shocking declaration to make that Terence is a boxer who has sustained through recent eras of boxing. But to say that he’s the only one to do so is unfair. There are legendary fighters that came before him, that fight alongside him, and the ones that are yet to come and hold similar caliber.

Terence Crawford is relevant through all eras, but who else?

In a conversation with ESNews, the inactive super Lightweight boxer, Zab Judah clarified his stance on a statement that he was seemingly misquoted. He was speaking about the time when he said that Bud was the only boxer from this generation who has made it through all eras. The interviewer asked him if it was unfair to boxers like Manny Pacquiao, Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, and Spence. Zab made it clear that he did not claim that Bud was the only fighter to have achieved the feat.

The boxer further clarified saying, You know Crawford, his ability, how he breaks down his fight. I don’t think that he’s the only guy that, you know could be in the same generation.” Further, when he was asked if Floyd Mayweather could also be placed under the same umbrella, the boxer answered in the affirmative. He said, “A hundred percent. Floyd has proven to be good in every era. I think that he wasn’t given enough time to finish the answer, that is why it came out like that.”

What would make Bud the all-time Great of Boxing?

In an interview on ‘The Porter Way Podcast’, Terence Crawford spoke vividly about the fight he would need to establish himself as the champion of all time in boxing. And the name is Jermell Charlo. Well, it is a fight that the world has been desperately waiting for. He said, “All I got is Jermell [Charlo] now, to solidify myself as the all-time-great of all boxing.”

Furthering his reasons to fight Charlo, the boxer said, “I don’t like Jermell, for the simple fact that I think he is a fake individual. I feel like Errol is real, he’s genuine, he stands ten toes on everything that he says and does, Jermell is one of those guys that does a lot for attention.” Interestingly, both Errol and Jermell are stablemates who train with Derrick James. However, Bud is not the only one pushing for this fight.

As we await to see what Terence’s next move is in the boxing ring as he furthers his hold over the titles in the Welterweight, Jermell Charlo vowed to come back to the division to fight Bud.
