“You Didn’t Beat Up a Real Champion Kid”: Amidst Fight Call-Out, Keith Thurman’s Harsh Remarks Leaves Claressa Shields Annoyed

Claressa Shields and Keith Thurman have really been going at each other on social media for some time now. Notably, Shields has been getting into every fighter’s radar lately, she’s got a beef ongoing with Shadasia Green, which connects her to-and-fro with Jake Paul. Recently, she also took some digs at the Youtuber-turned-boxer and also called him out for a fight. While her conversation about the Savannah Marshall rematch is still around the corner, it’s still yet to be seen what will be her next course of action.

One thing is certain Shields is planning to take a fight in the PFL by the end of the year. She’s even declared that she’s interested in going against Larissa Pacheco. Besides that, her back-and-forth with Keith Thurman is still going on, and recently she even replied back to Thurman mocking her.

Claressa Shields claps back at Keith Thurman

One of the Instagram users shared a video of Keith Thurman where he was mocking Claressa Shields regarding her achievements. Although he accepted the fact that Shields is at the pinnacle of female boxing, at the same time, he stated that she hasn’t defeated anybody great in her career.

He said, “Are you king of the hill now? Yeah. Do you deserve it? Yeah. Do I still think you just beat up almost nobody? You know, you didn’t beat up a real champion kid.” Well, the fans posted this video on their Instagram story and also made fun of the boxer’s lisp, thus taking Shields’s side. This story was reshared by Shields.

In her story, she wrote, “Lol keith annoying“. Some time ago, Shields and Thurman talked about competing in a boxing fight, however, Shields has revealed some harsh truths about Thurman recently.

Shields openly revealed the conversation with Keith Thurman

In a recent conversation with Mirror Fighting, Claressa Shields talked about Keith Thurman’s callout for a fight. Then she also pointed out how men have bigger egos in general, and she can’t stand it.

She said, “Keith said he could beat me with one hand and he could wear bigger gloves and I could wear headgear? I’m like ‘dude, stop’.” Then she also talked about how Thurman isn’t even a world champion and she doesn’t even consider him a good boxer for that matter. She warned him to “tread lightly because I will get in there and I will fight him with both hands.”
