Jake Paul is known for the outlandish things to develop the intrigue of any fight even further. During the presser of the Tommy Fury fight, Paul proposed the ‘All or Nothing’ offer just hours before the fight. Now, after he faced the first loss of his career against ‘TNT’, he’s going to raise his gloves against the former UFC fighter, Nate Diaz. Although he hasn’t done anything bizarre yet, Paul can turn the tables on even the last day before the bout.
One such incident took place during the first press conference of Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition fight. Jake Paul’s infamous ‘Gotcha Hat’ moment, when Paul stole Mayweather’s hat and got involved in a brawl with his entourage is another example. It became a meme and gained considerable traction after it went viral. It also led to an altercation between ‘Pretty Boy’ and Jake Paul.

Treading in his elder brother’s footsteps, Jake Paul hosts his own podcast, BS w/ Jake Paul. So in the recent episode with Bobby Shmurda as the guest, Paul spoke about the events that ended up with him stealing Mayweather’s hat. Shmurda was intrigued about what exactly made ‘The Problem Child’ take such a decision.
Paul said, “I was on demon mode. I’m at this Press Conference and Floyd starts talking sh*t.” He called himself a mere “observer” but Mayweather provoked him as Paul explained, “Floyd’s like, ‘B*ch one, b*ch two’“. So, one of the co-hosts of the podcast, Jack asks Paul, “So it wasn’t premeditated, you didn’t think about it before you got to the venue?”
Jake Paul denied it vehemently and then went on to explain how things turned out. Mayweather really got under his skin, so he untied his shoelaces and wanted to mess up his outfit even more. That’s when he got the idea to steal the hat, so he did it and tried to make a run for it. But who knew that this incident would come back 2 years later in a different manner?

Well, the hat incident started the beef between these two, and Floyd Mayweather needed a chance to get back at the younger Paul brother. So, after his exhibition fight against Aaron Chalmers, he sized Paul up with approximately 20 men by his side, after the Miami Heat game. The video of that incident also went viral.
In the video, Paul is approached by a bunch of men with Mayweather in the center, and the person holding the camera could be heard saying, “Are we going to bust him up, guys?” Then Jake Paul fled away from the scene and tried to stay away from the dispute. Mainly because he was only accompanied by one security guard, while on the other hand, he had an army in front of him.
