Andrade is known for his Southpaw, and multiple knockouts under his belt (19). What’s more, Andrade started his boxing journey at the age of 6, earning him the nickname, ‘BooBoo’. He went on to represent the USA at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, winning the country a gold. While ‘BooBoo’ has faced such elite competition consistently, the fight with Canelo seems to be at the back of his mind.

Their feud dates back to May 2021, when Andrade confronted Alvarez at the AT&T media event in Texas. Canelo, in his typical no-nonsense fashion, verbally demolished Andrade. Canelo reminded Andrade he hasn’t fought anyone in years and to “Get tf Out of here.” It was a moment that instantly went viral and became a highlighting point of their rivalry.
That could change though, because according to ESPN, Andrade and his team are currently negotiating details for a fight with the two-time WBC super Middleweight champion David Benavidez before the end of this year. This could be a career-making point for Andrade, as Benavidez has quite the laurels under his belt, being such a young boxer.
