On the 17th of February, WBA, WBO, and IBF champion, Oleksandr Usyk and WBC champion, Tyson Fury will fight each other at the Kingdom Arena of Riyadh as a part of the city’s ongoing season. However, this clash is unlike any other. When its winner emerges, he will be crowned undisputed, a title unheld since 1999. To get this historic fight rolling, multiple avenues collapsed. But now, as it happens, the focus shifts to Saudi Arabia and the key stakeholder who remains the mastermind behind the rise of the Kingdom as a boxing hub.

Turki Alalshikh Hypes up Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury

His Excellency, Turki Alalshikh, the adviser at the Royal Court of Saudi Arabia took to his X, to warm up his followers for the upcoming match between The Cat and ‘The Gypsy King.’ In a post, he shared the static video of both fighters dressed in cowboy attire, with the title of the event taking center stage. Billed, ‘Ring of Fire’, Alalshikh highlighted the historic significance of the matchup. He wrote, “Boxing history in the making [fire emoji] Four belts on the line for the first time!”

In a call to action, urging fans to book tickets, he further noted, “Witness the ultimate showdown as undefeated legends Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk clash in the Ring Of Fire [fire emoji] Experience this historic battle in Kingdom Arena.”

His post got fans hyped up. While some expressed their excitement for the fight, others could not help but acknowledge his efforts in getting this fight on the road.

Every fighter and promoter who has their fights happen in the Kingdom has always spoken highly of Alalshikh. His dedication and interest in getting the biggest fights made has not gone unnoticed. For these efforts, a fan called him, “wonder man for Boxing.”
