Boxing Scene’s Francisco A. Salazar tweeted, “A Leonard Ellerbe told me Curmel Moton will face Ezequiel Flores immediately after the main event between Canelo Alvarez and Jermell Charlo. The 17-year-old amateur standout will be making his pro debut against Flores (4-0, 4 KOs).” Moreover, fans are showing mixed reactions to Curmel Moton’s upcoming fight.

Given Curmel Moton’s amateur career and Floyd Mayweather’s name, one fan was eager to know the time of the bout and whether it would be televised. The fan said, “What time does he fight? And will it be televised?”

Next, there’s a sense of unfamiliarity, as one fan bluntly asked, “Who tf is that?”

Overall, the fanbase seems divided but curious about Curmel Moton’s debut, but many relied on social media as this bout was not televised.
