Floyd Mayweather Jr. is one of the most well-known and highest-paid athletes of all time. Known for his exceptional defense, Mayweather managed to leave behind an impressive record of 50-0. Moreover, it’s reported that he has had a total earning of over $1.1 billion throughout his career landing him a spot in the top 10 of the list of highest-paid sportspersons. Furthermore, he hasn’t stopped fighting yet and has been regularly engaging in exhibition bouts since his retirement.

However, he hasn’t just made this staggering amount of money through fighting. He has his own promotion company called Mayweather Promotions and also has his brand called ‘The Money Team’. Not only that but he also treats himself like a brand, and doesn’t allow others to simply profit through his content, which YouTuber Adin Ross found out recently.

A video recently surfaced on X, shared by Happy Punch which featured Adin Ross trying to introduce himself to Floyd Mayweather Jr. In the video, Mayweather’s team can be seen stopping Ross as he is being told to stop the recording.

He told the cameraman to turn the camera down. He then introduced himself as he said, “Sup? How are you doing bro? Adin, nice to meet you.” To this Mayweather confirms, “Yeah but you’re streaming right? I gotta own my footage. You can’t film me for free.”

To this, Ross told the cameraman to not film the Michigan native. Soon Mayweather was heard saying, “Run a check.” Ross was confused as he couldn’t understand what Mayweather was saying and the former champion asked, “Who’s company is it?”. The streamer stated that it was his company and Mayweather said, “Yeah? Where’s my check?”.

Soon the video cuts and Ross can be seen going away as he expresses his disappointment with the interaction he just had with his “idol.” He said, “He did not rock with me at all bro, at all. He did not f*ck with me at all bro.” Adin Ross further added, “He didn’t look at me, he’s just really like that, it’s cool bro. No, he did not f*ck with me at all. It’s all good. Chat, meet your idols, what happens bro?”

However, did you know that Adin Ross has been dabbling with boxing recently?

Adin Ross gets knocked out by Ryan Garcia

Ryan Garcia and Adin Ross go way back and reportedly the Kick streamer even wagered around $150,000 on the young boxer during his Gervonta Davis bout. After Garcia’s devastating loss, Ross even posted a video joking about losing money. Recently, Ross has been trying his hands on boxing hoping to get in better shape. However, he did get trolled by fans and even by ‘KingRY’ himself for his pad work which left a lot to be desired.

Recently, Garcia agreed to Ross’s request to come to Miami and train with him and Neon. The boxing sensation wrote, “I got you, no more of that other boxing you were doing the other day.” And recently a video of Garcia sparring with both Ross and Neon at the same time surfaced on social media.
