“And the new IBF Bantamweight champion of the world, Miyo Yoshida.” Perhaps the sweetest words Miyo Yoshida heard after accepting to fight Ebanie Bridges with just twenty days’ notice. The 16-4-0 boxer from Japan shocked the world by defeating Ebanie Bridges via unanimous decision. Interestingly, what made the night even more special for Yoshida was the fact that her mother was in the audience, cheering for the 35-year-old pugilist.

As the fight began, Bridges was the crowd favorite, but soon, it was pretty clear who was dominating. Despite agreeing to fight Bridges with just 20 days’ notice, Miyo ‘Musashi’ proved experience beats hype. So, when DAZN Boxing announced on X (formerly Twitter) the winner of the fight, fans went wild. “Champ on 20 days notice Miyo Yoshida @MiyoBluedog gets the unanimous decision win,” wrote DAZN. When fans found the tweet, chaos erupted in the comment section.

Since the tweet went live on the platform, it has collected nearly 50K views, over 700 hearts, and a plethora of opinions. While some congratulated Yoshida, others bashed Bridges for prioritizing her OnlyFans.

One user blamed Bridges’ OnlyFans account for her loss in the fight.

Another user suggested they were happy for Yoshida and her mother.

Someone else branded Bridges an “Influencer,” implying she doesn’t have any real skills.

The next user congratulated Yoshida while highlighting the fact that she accepted the fight with a 20-day notice.

One user did not pull their punches, claiming the fight was one-sided from the start to the end.

Despite suffering a dominating loss at the hands of Miyo Yoshida, Bridges was confident about winning. Before the fight, in an ironic tweet, Bridges claimed she would smash her opponent.

‘The Blonde Bomber’ shouts out Irish Stout

Going into the fight, Bridges was heavily favored to win, with Conor McGregor in the audience cheering for her. However, things did not play out as she wanted. What makes the loss even worse is the fact that she was boasting on X about smashing Yoshida in the fight. Before the fight, Bridges turned to X, giving a shout-out to McGregor’s brand Irish Stout.

“Huge shout out and appreciation post for the @ForgedIrish crew and the main man @TheNotoriousMMA,” wrote Bridges. However, later in the tweet, she wrote, “I’m so proud to be a part of the forged army, and I can’t wait to smash a forged Irish stout after I smash my opponent tonight,” wrote Bridges.

Just like Bridges shocked the boxing world back in 2022 by defeating Shannon O’Connell, Yoshida shocked the world by dominating the Australian boxer. However, the bigger question is – what did you think of Bridges’ performance? Do you think her business endeavors distracted her? Do you think she was too focused on her OnlyFans?
