Dillian Whyte just made a comeback with an impressive victory over Christian Hammer in Ireland. Despite not displaying the most flawless boxing, Whyte was able to land some of his big shots on the German fighter. After an active third round in which Whyte threw and landed a couple of hooks and uppercuts, Hammer’s corner retired having injured his shoulder.
So now, what is next for Dillian Whyte? Well, now that ‘The Body Snatcher’ is back after more than a year’s absence, here are the three boxers we believe he shall fight next in the ring.
Dillian Whyte might lay his hands on Joe Joyce or Francis Ngannou next

Following the 10th-round KO victory over Kash Ali on March 16th, Joe Joyce declared that among other opponents, he would like to face Dillian Whyte in the ring. “I think [Joseph] Parker would be a good one, and Dillian Whyte, maybe [Deontay] Wilder,” said Joyce, having ended his two-fight losing streak. In this context, it must be mentioned that Joyce also faced Christian Hammer in 2022. But, unlike Whyte’s third-round RTD victory, ‘Juggernaut’ beat Hammer via a fourth-round TKO.
On the other hand, before Francis Ngannou made his boxing debut in 2023, in an interview with Sky Sports, Whyte had expressed his desire to fight ‘The Predator’ in the ring. Hoping his fight with Ngannou would be “interesting,” Dillian Whyte declared that he would “bash him up.” “I would love to fight him. We both have got a martial arts background. And he’s up for jumping in at the deep end, fighting someone like me. It would get lots of interest and eyeballs,” Whyte had said.
Well, now that Ngannou is a ranked boxer and has already faced Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, there is a chance that Whyte would like to fight Francis.

‘The Body Snatcher’ could also look for a rematch against ‘AJ’
Last year in August, Dillian Whyte was supposed to rematch Anthony Joshua after the TKO loss to ‘AJ’ in 2015. However, as Whyte failed his VADA test, the fight was called off. But, now that Whyte is back with a win, ‘The Body Snatcher’ may want to get back in the ring with Joshua. On the other hand, following the win against Ngannou, Joshua will face the winner of Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed Heavyweight title.

Therefore, there is a great chance that charmed by the prospect of becoming an undisputed champion, Whyte would pursue ‘AJ’ after Joshua has won against the winner of Fury vs. Usyk. With that said, who would you like to see Whyte against? Let us know in the comments below.
