Recently, he was seen shopping at an arcade for the holidays. While his fans are mostly accustomed to his lavish shopping sprees, his recent post seems to have rubbed fans in the wrong way.

Mayweather, champion of the bygone era, has amassed a stellar net worth of $450 million. And spending $15 million of that for his Christmas shopping? Hardly, any difference right? But he seems to need such run to the stores quite occasionally. While flaunting the style in which he shops, the fighter explained, “I can’t speak for nobody else. But I can speak for myself. When you’re V-V-V-VIP, you shop how you wanna shop. Check it out.” He added, “The store is closed, it’s Christmas time. I shop just like Santa Clause, by myself.”

One fan was a little sympathetic toward the store workers who’d have to clock in late that night when Mayweather dropped in to do some shopping.

Floyd Mayweather is a connoisseur of automobiles. In his latest car-craze-induced spending, the former champion poured massive bucks into revamping his McLaren 720S Coupe.

While he is known to only have black and white colored cars in his collection, he decided it was interesting to transform his $300,000 McLaren 720S into a “killer bee”. Flaunting it on his social media, Mayweather wrote, “Sorry I had to sting y’all with the killer Bee!”
