Tyson Fury is one of the biggest names in the sport of boxing right now. The 6’9 ft giant stands at the peak of the sport physically and in his prowess as well. He is currently preparing for a crossover fight against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou. On October 28, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Francis Ngannou will step into the world of professional boxing. The match, titled “Battle of the Baddest,” will pit the former UFC star against the undefeated powerhouse Tyson Fury, as he further cements his legacy in combat sports. This matchup, undoubtedly his most challenging to date, casts him as a significant underdog. Nevertheless, ‘The Predator’ shockingly revealed that he’s already looking beyond this fight.

During an appearance on The MMA Hour, Francis Ngannou asserted that his life won’t come to a standstill after the Saturday clash. He believes that both he and Fury are not fixated on each other. “I’m looking past him too,” boldly stated Ngannou when asked if he thinks Tyson Fury is doing the same.

Do you think my life is going to stop after this? No. Do you think my career is going to end after this fight? No. I have a future after this fight. I’m looking on stuff, you know? No later than last week, I was on the phone with Peter Murray talking about PFL stuff,” added Ngannou.

“So yes, he has a right to look past me. We are not going to war that we are going to die, we are just going to fight and we’re going to be back and continue with our lives [afterward],” said Ngannou defending Fury, moving ahead with his Usyk fight. Despite the fight’s enormity, it’s evident that both fighters have their sights set on what lies ahead. Tyson Fury is likely focused on his upcoming bout with Usyk, while Francis Ngannou may already be contemplating his PFL debut.

What does Mike Tyson have to say about Ngannou?

Mike Tyson is presently aiding Ngannou in his preparations for his upcoming match against the Fury. Ngannou recently shared that during their initial meeting, he inquired if Tyson would support him in a bout against Fury, to which Tyson affirmed his support.
