Watch: Tyson Fury Jokingly Spars With $50 Million Bezos Annual Awardee Eva Longoria

Tyson Fury shared a short clip a few hours ago. It showed him alongside Eva Longoria. The 49-year-old actress and businesswoman, known for her leading role in the soap opera ‘The Young and the Restless’, recently made headlines. She received the $50 million ‘Courage and Civility’ prize from Jeff Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez. The award reportedly recognizes people who have made significant contributions to their communities.

Tyson Fury, in the meantime, is busy preparing himself for the mega-fight against Oleksandr Usyk on May 18. The fight was initially scheduled for February 17. However, a sparring injury led to the fight’s postponement. The winner of the bout will become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis was crowned 25 years ago.

Ring to the Red Carpet

The clip, shared via Instagram Story, captures the towering figure of Tyson Fury standing beside Eva Longoria. The heavyweight champion, standing at nearly 7 feet tall, is dressed most colorfully. With Antonio Lucio Vivaldi‘s ‘Winter Drill #2’ playing in the background, the two celebrities, with smiles on their faces, have their fists raised. They appear poised for action, as if preparing to throw punches. While the world champion’s left hand follows the usual norm—drawn casually in front—Longoria throws an uppercut on Fury’s chin with her right hand.

Fury posted a message: “Little bit of sparring for the fight, @evalongoria!” The slide displayed an image of the golden Rolex that ‘The Gypsy King’ seemingly wore. It didn’t miss to mention the wrist watch’s price tag of $52,000 either. Interestingly, the story connects to a post shared by @superwatchman. Sharing the same footage, the message provided the details of the watch: “@tysonfury, sparring with @evalongoria, is wearing a 40 mm @rolex Day-Date in 18-carat yellow gold, featuring a black dial without numerals and a presidential bracelet.” It read. Additionally, a number was provided for watch reference.

In a separate post, the WBC heavyweight champion probably pulled a prank on the followers by sharing a photo displaying two cuts over his right eye. It had a rather puzzling message where it said, “Talking about cuts, I’m no stranger to um!”

Tyson Fury: Back to Present?

It soon had the comment box flooded with a myriad of voices and opinions. Some like this user stated, “Scared of fighting Usyk, just vacate the belt [already].” Another said, “Will run away again? Because of the scratch?”

But then many increasingly pointed out that the photograph belongs to the 2019 Otto Wallin fight. Though the Mancunian won the battle, it left him with two gashes over the right eye. A follower probably understood, “For a second, I thought this was a fresh one!” Then one after another echoed similar thoughts. “This is from Wallin fight, the same Wallin AJ blasted out,” said one. The next follower tried to paint a clearer picture: “Everyone chill; he doesn’t have a beard atm, stop crying.”

Whatever is said and done, fans can no longer fathom anything happening to the May 18 blockbuster. They want to see an undisputed champion sitting on the throne, at least in this era.
