Watch: George Kambosos Jr. Shows His Daughter the Ropes of Boxing

George Kambosos Jr is over the moon owing to his recent victory. After being defeated consecutively by Devin Haney, the former undisputed lightweight champion had a resurgence. On July 22, the Australian boxer fought and defeated Maxi Hughes via majority decision. Not only did he get back into the win column but also got crowned as the IBO world lightweight champion.

His most recent victory opens up an opportunity to fight for the lightweight titles again. However, for the time being, the boxer is enjoying the fruits of his hard work. On social media, Kambosos Jr. gives an insight into the lesser-known part of his life. He shares a wholesome video of his daughter shadowboxing with him.

Kambosos is a family man through and through. He is married to Bec Pereira and have 3 children together. Even before the 30-year-old became a champion, the boxer was a father and husband. Every once in a while, Kambosos Jr. takes a break from sharing his boxing drills on Instagram and gives an insight into his personal life. 

On his Instagram story, ‘ The Emperor,’ is seen spending quality family time. In the video, Kambosos Jr. and his daughter have a light-hearted pad-hitting session. He captioned the video, “Class always in session,” in which his daughter seems to hitting his palms like it is pads and also ducking under hooks. It would be safe to say that his daughter is used to shadow boxing or training as she was able to throw all sorts of punches; Jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts.

Kambosos Jr has a life outside the squared circle. However, it often overlaps as he does not shy away from teaching his children the ‘sweet science,’ of boxing. And before his last fight, the boxer took to Instagram and promised his son a gift on the account of his fourth birthday.

Ahead of his last bout, Kambosos Jr’s promised his son, Leonidas, a victory as a gift for his fourth birthday. On his Instagram story, he stated, “Happy 4th bday to my little spartan warrior, Leonidas Dad has a special present for you after tonight’s fight!!!”
