Watch: 5-Time Grammy Nominee Akon Calls Logan Paul’s Friend a “Snitch” to His Face

Conversations ranging from Christianity to mental health, Eminem, and even artificial intelligence, Logan Paul’s latest episode of his podcast, ImPaulsive is one that cannot be missed. In an unfiltered and candid conversation with the American rapper, Akon, Logan Paul and his pal Mike Majlak covered most bases in a bid to make the episode fun, relevant and engaging.

Legendary musician Akon has an inspiring story to tell to all of those who once questioned his worth in the music world. The rapper has five World Music Awards, one Billboard Award, and five Grammy nominations. With such an impressive portfolio to boast about, of course, the episode would discuss his music career. While doing the same, a fellow host of the show, Majlak was called a ‘snitch,’ by Akon.

The Snitch Reference All Over Again, Akon Rekindles Some Old Stories

Almost a year ago, the American musician spoke about his desire to mentor 6ix9ine early in his career. While the rainbow-hair-colored rapper earned the label of a snitch, Akon opposed labeling him as such. 6ix9ine  earned that reputation because he infamously became the federal government’s key witness in the case against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. A former member of the crew, 6ix9ine struck a deal with the feds to testify against them in a racketeering and firearms case. As the world distanced itself from him, Akon publicly expressed his support for him a few years later.

Akon in 2022 revealed that he suggested to 6ix9nine that despite the world canceling him for testifying against his crew members, he did the right thing by doing so in order to mitigate violence and street gang activity. Almost a year later, a reference to this conversation was made yet again on Logan Paul’s podcast.

While Mike explained to Akon that he was the only one in his friend circle who had never served time in federal prison or continued to struggle with addiction, the rapper subtly alluded to 6ix9ine. He said, “Cause you snitched.”

Eminem on ImPaulsive?

In the same podcast, both Akon and Paul got into a discussion to determine who the dream guest to still make an appearance on the podcast would be. Logan Paul and Mike without any second thought, uttered the name of the Grammy-winning rapper, Eminem. Akon replied saying, “Eminem? He would definitely do it. Have you reached out to him? He would definitely do this show. I’m [going to] reach out to him, he would definitely do this show.”

But what would Akon get if he got Eminem on the podcast? Equity in Prime Hydration suggested the American musician.

Paul said, “If you get Eminem to agree to co-host the show, I’ll give you equity in Prime.” He added, “Me, Mike Majlak, and Eminem.” Prime is a hydration drink company that Paul started in collaboration with KSI. Ever since its inception a year ago, the brand has had skyrocketing profits.

The conversation between Logan Paul and Akon entailed a lot of things. But what it mostly highlighted was how laid back the two were as they discussed some majorly relevant topics. In other news, Logan Paul will be entering the ring against Dillon Danis on the 14th of October. The fight is the undercard to the highly anticipated bout between KSI and Tommy Fury.
