Artur Beterbiev might have participated in only 20 fights in his decade-long career. But the fact remains: the world champion won all those bouts through knockouts. The Russian-Canadian boxer probably doesn’t need any other stats that could vouch for the devastating power of his punches. However, as effective as they are against humans, can they work against machines as well?

Boxers across the board, at some point or another, have tried their hands at a punching machine. For a few, the reading kind of validates their reputation as heavy hitters. What will it show for the light heavyweight champion? Fans and followers got a glimpse early today as Beterbiev gave it a go at the machine. When the final numbers appeared, everyone was in for a shocker.

Boxing Kingdom‘s post read that Artur Beterbiev wrecked the beachside boxing arcade machine. “BETERBIEV destroys the punch machine,” it read. The champion, appearing relaxed, took a few seconds before launching a solid right. Gradually, with background music in the background, the numbers on the display started shooting up. It finally stopped at 805. This fan felt that the machine kind of choked up after receiving Beterbiev’s brutal punch. The numbers that appeared weren’t accurate, but rather just random information.

But for this follower, the machine figure of 805 didn’t appear to be a great challenge to break.

The following user seemingly took to sarcasm, though. Calling out Beterbiev’s punch as impressive, they commented whether the punching machine too needed some beefing up at the gym!

However, on the other hand, this follower finds the machine numbers appropriate. According to them, it suits someone who has never achieved a knockout with a single punch.

It was difficult to unriddle what this user wanted to convey here. Hopefully they were appreciating Beterbiev for employing a first-rate technique.
