In only his second fight at 135 lbs, Shakur Stevenson is facing knock-out artist Edwin De Los Santos with the WBC Lightweight title on the line. With a victory over De Los Santos, the 26-year-old, in popular opinion, the future of the sport, would also become a three-division world champion in professional boxing.
On that note, the admirers of the sport including Creed star Michael B. Jordan are eager to see how Stevenson delivers against Edwin before eventually squaring off against the likes of WBA Lightweight champion Gervonta Davis and former Undisputed Lightweight title holder Devin Haney. Likewise, as the 26-year-old prepared for one of the biggest fights of his career, Michael B. Jordan aka Adonis Creed made sure he occupied a seat inside the T-Mobile Arena where Shakur will lock horns with Edwin.

Jordan, famous for playing the character Adonis Creed in the Creed franchise, not only came to watch the fight but also paid Shakur a visit. While Shakur prepared himself mentally, Jordan walked into the locker room and hugged the former warmly. Undoubtedly, Stevenson was happy to have met Jordan who also worked with his training partner Terence Crawford for Creed III.

Hopefully, Jordan’s visit will encourage Stevenson, who is currently 20-0, to keep his record unbeaten. However, one must acknowledge the fact that Edwin Santos has won 87.5% of his fights via knockouts. Likewise, it is also expected that Santos, who feels Shakur is not as skilful as Gervonta Davis or Devin Haney, will give Stevenson a tough fight that he will remember. Anyway, as Jordan steals the moment with his presence, it is worthy of notice that the Creed star once felt he could compete against actual boxers in the ring.
