Who wouldn’t want to fight Floyd Mayweather? Besides the opportunity to defeat one of the greatest boxers in the world, Floyd’s opponents stand to make millions even if they lose. However, that might not be true for controversial YouTube star Logan Paul. The duo went toe-to-toe back in June 2021 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

The fight didn’t see an official winner, but some unofficial scorecards showed Floyd as the clear winner. What’s more, Floyd had the potential to end the fight as soon as it began, but a possible rematch and the income from that was too much to ignore. However, following the fight, sources revealed Floyd had avoided paying Logan his share of the pay-per-view income, something Logan brought up every chance he got. Fast forward to today, while appearing in an interview with Graham Bensinger, the older Paul brother revealed he rejected a rematch offer from Floyd twice.

Speaking to Logan, Bensinger quickly probed him about how he sees a fight against Mayweather turning out if they fought today. In response, Paul claimed he would definitely beat the unbeaten former five-division champion with ease because Mayweather is just 5’2 tall. “I think I beat him!… He’s this 5’2 giant, but he’s just 5’2. He’s beatable. Bro, I’m a YouTuber and I went eight rounds with the greatest fighter of all time,” said Paul.

When further probed about a rematch between them, Paul claimed he has bigger and better things to do, but the idea of potentially knocking out Mayweather felt enticing. “Maybe but I just feel like I got bigger fish to fry literally. But the idea of being the only person to knock out Floyd Mayweather excites me,” said Paul.

Seeing Paul is willing to fight Mayweather again, Bensinger asked whether their corners have discussed a potential rematch. To which Paul revealed – he was offered a rematch by Floyd, not once, but twice. “He asked me… Yeah, twice. He was supposed to fight someone on top of the… In Dubai. It fell through. He asked if I wanted to step in and I said, ‘No.’ He’s not a person you take a fight on 6 weeks’ notice with,” said Logan. However, following this interview for Logan’s documentary, even Bensinger couldn’t stay away from Paul’s drama.

Logan Paul accuses Graham Bensinger of weaving a one-sided story

The documentary, filmed by Bensinger, an American journalist, over the last five months, has come under fire from Paul himself. The YouTuber cum Boxer spoke to TMZ Sports, where he accused Bensinger of showcasing a one-sided story that led to many sleepless nights for him.

Paul said, “When a narrative is being told about you that is so far from the truth because there’s a one-sided story, it led to sleepless nights. It led to paranoia, it led to a manic state. It led to me opening up on Graham’s documentary because I thought he had my best interest in line.”

Paul goes on to claim that he was under the assumption that the documentary was going to air on Apple TV. However, when he discovered it on YouTube, he could not help but feel betrayed. “Because I put my story into the hands of someone, who I don’t think was really looking out for me,” said Paul.
