It all started two decades ago, when ‘Gypsy King’ Fury and Paris met. He was a 17-year-old boxing aspirant who hardly had made any ripples. Paris, on the other hand, was a 15-year-old girl from an Irish Traveller family. Aligning with her strong catholic upbringing, she had hoped for a partner who concurred with her beliefs. Both residing on either side of the land, fate got them together at a friend’s wedding.
On their first meeting, the fighter remarked, “You look like a Sindy doll,” leaving a lasting impression on Paris. Their paths crossed again the following year when they met at Paris’s 16th birthday celebration. Soon, their story of romance flourished. In 2008, they sealed their love with marriage at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
