The lightweight clash earlier in April generated  $22.8 Million, making it the fifth largest in history.

Michael Bensonn took to Twitter and reported, “Errol Spence vs Terence Crawford reportedly generated a gate (money from ticket sales) of over $21million – the sixth largest in Las Vegas history, just behind Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia ($22.8million).”

This revelation just goes to show that the boxing world is interested to witness the best boxers face the toughest competition. On similar lines, Eddie Hearn advanced a claim that fighting top-tier competition is lucrative by drawing the example of Spence vs Crawford.
