“20 Million”: Amid Ongoing Feud, Gervonta Davis Slams Bill Haney and Speaks About Potential Devin Haney Fight

After Devin Haney defeated Regis Prograis to become the new WBC Super-Lightweight champion of the world, his father called out the current WBA Lightweight title holder Gervonta Davis. As per the latest updates, team Haney even offered an attractive figure to ‘Tank’ for the potent fight.

While Bill Haney is in disbelief, Gervonta Davis confirms rejecting $20 million

Amidst the ongoing banter, Bill Haney just took to his Instagram stories and claimed Gervonta Davis rejected a figure of $20 million offered to him for a potential fight with Devin Haney. By the tone in which the father of the two-division world champion spoke, it seemed he was in disbelief. “Bro, you didn’t turn down 20 million, bro? 20 million!” exclaimed Bill Haney. “You didn’t turn down 20 million guaranteed! Are you serious, bro?” he added.

Following the story by Bill, in a tweet he later deleted, Davis wrote, “Bill can’t even reach the n***a he need to talk to. But for sure I’m turning down 20 mil guaranteed.” Although he confirmed he turned down the offer, Davis did not entirely throw away the prospect of the fight. Later, during an Instagram live, Gervonta Davis ordered team Haney to contact Davis’ representatives – those invested with the authority to decide Davis’ fights.

‘Tank’ will likely take the Haney fight on one condition

After Bill Haney informed the boxing world Gervonta Davis rejected the $20 million guaranteed to fight Devin Haney, ‘Tank’ revealed why he did it. During an Instagram live, the WBA Lightweight champion complained team Haney was not communicating with the right people. “20 million, what are they talking about 20 million? That n***a can’t even talk to the n***a he need to talk about me,” said Davis.

“These n***as is p***. He is broke. They wanna talk crazy. I want your boss, homie. If they wanna make the fight happen, tell them they know who to call. And I’m by the phone. What’s up?” he added.
