David Benavidez isn’t just a champion boxer, he’s also a boxing aficionado. His latest pupil? None other than YouTube sensation Jake Paul aiming for a knockout against none other than boxing legend Mike Tyson. Benavidez believes Paul, with the right training, could exploit his technical skills against a much older Tyson.

Benavidez said, “The key for Jake Paul is to play with Tyson’s game. Stay with the jab and fire right hands. Jake’s got a lot to learn before he can realistically compete with the sixth-longest reigning Heavyweight Champion.”

Now, Paul will also be making a jump in weight categories as he’ll be moving up from cruiserweight to heavyweight. So it only makes sense that he’s trying to watch and learn from David Benavidez who’s also going through the same journey. Paul even shared moments from the time he spent with the 27-year-old boxer on his Instagram stories.
