When Teofimo Lopez came across Keyshawn Davis at the UFC PI, the 9-0 boxer was eager for a photo with ‘The Takeover’. And Lopez, being the generous champion that he is, fulfilled Davis’ wish. However, after Keyshawn Davis showed interest in fighting Teofimo, the WBO Super-Lightweight champion accused the former of switching sides. In this context, at the press conference of Teofimo Lopez vs. Jamaine Ortiz, undercard fighter Keyshawn Davis responded to Lopez.

On being asked about the “chatter back-and-forth”, while Lopez concentrated on Bruce Lee’s Bee Water My Friend, Keyshawn Davis told the media that ‘The Takeover’ forbade ‘The Businessman’ to call him out after the Ortiz fight. “Just seeing things in the media. Videos and stuff like that. You know fighters like to bring up things that happen behind closed doors,” began Davis. “So, yeah I asked for a picture. But, this man did tell me not to call him out after this fight. So, you take that for what it is,” added ‘The Businessman’ who would fight Jose Pedraza on February 8th.

Anyway, despite Davis’ confrontation, ‘The Takeover’ implied he was focused on one man only, Jamaine Ortiz.
