“This Is What I Was Destined to Do”: Jake Paul Reveals His ‘Sacred Responsibility’ Uncovered in Spiritual Ceremony Ahead of March Fight in Puerto Rico

It’s been around 3 years since Jake Paul embarked on the journey to prove himself in the ring. Even though it was marked with hardships and criticism from fans of the sport, he never let anything dishearten him and pushed through. Moreover, his defeat at the hands of Tommy Fury only further fueled his desire to rise to the top of the sport.

The defeat further strengthened Paul’s resolve to become a world champion. He even called out Canelo Alvarez for a fight but the undisputed champion didn’t give it serious thought. As he prepares for another boxing event in March, Paul recently shared his ‘Sacred responsibility’ that he needs to fulfill.

What is Jake Paul talking about?

Even though Jake Paul has been fighting for quite a long time at this point, he didn’t appear to be fixated on becoming a champion before. Rather, the fans previously criticized him for fighting only for money and fame. However, it seems that something helped him change his perspective and strengthen his resolve in the sport.

Recently, boxing reporter Michael Benson shared a quote from ‘The Problem Child’. Paul stated, “I believe that every individual on this planet has a sacred responsibility and uncovering what that is for yourself is a big part of one’s journey. Earlier this year in a spiritual ceremony I saw clearer than ever what my sacred responsibility was – to become world champion. This is what I was destined to do.”

This spiritual ceremony Paul is hinting at might be his Ayahuasca experience with Aaron Rodgers in the jungles of Peru. Paul revealed that they did Ayahuasca together and that it brought him a lot of clarity in life. Paul is now planning to return to the ring in March, however, his opponent still remains a mystery.

Paul sends two contracts to potential opponents

Jake Paul recently stirred up the boxing world with a tweet about upcoming matches. He wrote, “My team sent out two contracts today. Let’s see which of the two potential opponents accepts first. Saturday March 2nd. Puerto Rico. Live on DAZN.” This announcement immediately ignited discussions among  boxing enthusiasts.

Fans were quick to speculate on the possible contenders. When a fan mentioned Tommy Fury, Paul responded, “He got an offer 3 weeks ago. Been mum since.” This hint suggests Fury might be hesitating about a rematch with Paul. But, Tommy isn’t the only name floating around. Neeraj Goyat, an Indian boxer with a commendable record, has also been in the mix, challenging Paul for a fight.
