But misfortune struck when, roughly a month later, reports showed that she had failed one of the drug tests before the Linardatou match.

Reportedly, she tested positive for a sample dated July 12. However, for the ones pertaining to July 15 and 16, the results turned negative. In a statement shared over social media, she denied anything to do with the banned substances. She said, “Two substances I’ve never heard of or used in any way.” Hence, amidst all these developments, it surprised many fans when they came across a clip of Baumgardner back in the ring.
