On October 14, Dillon Danis made his boxing debut and suffered an embarrassing loss at the hands of Logan Paul. People had anticipated an epic clash, but the conclusion left the boxing world utterly disappointed. Meanwhile, Drake, a popular rapper, had placed a bet of $850,000 on Logan Paul, knocking out Dillon. However, Dillon claimed he considered Drake a friend and his decision to place a bet against Dillon was disrespectful.

Skipping three days in the future, Dillon appeared in an interview with Piers Morgan. During the interview, Dillon disappointedly calls out the Canadian singer and rapper for betting against him. “And me and Drake were friends, so I didn’t like how he supported Logan,” Dillon said during the interview. However, when the clip made its way to X (formerly Twitter), the boxing community did not react favorably to the call-out.

Fans turn on Dillon Danis after loss to Logan Paul

During the interview, Dillon even suggested Drake had changed his number, indicating a lack of communication between them. When prompted for a message for Drake, Dillon stated, “Um, should have bet on me. I thought we were friends, Drake. That’s messed up!” After fans got their hands on the clip, they did not hesitate to voice their opinions openly.

One user suggested Drake is a gambler who just wants to make money through the bet, aiming to side with the winning team. It’s worth noting that Logan Paul was the crowd favorite, and most experts have predicted him to win.

Another user highlighted the fact that Dillon was wearing sunglasses during the interview. The user suggested it was to conceal that Dillon suffered during the fight with Logan Paul and asserted he wouldn’t remove the glasses soon. Interestingly, even during the interview, Morgan asked Dillon to briefly reveal his bruised eye.

The following user suggests that Drake might have been aware of the antics Dillon pulled in the ring on Saturday night. Here, the user referred to Dillon’s attempts to take down Logan with wrestling moves.

Someone else asserted that Dillon’s confidence was a facade he was putting on for the interview. In addition, the user suggested the facade is very obvious, and they could see through it.
