“That Was a Disturbing Watch”: Fans Scared as Misfits Fighter Collapses in the Ring, Leaves on Stretcher After Fight

Misfit was once again back with another event as Jarvis faced off against BDave headlining a thrilling fight card at York Hall. Jarvis, who has also been a part of the FaZe clan previously, has made a successful comeback after his loss against AnEsonGib at the KingPyn High Stakes tournament. He won the fight via unanimous decision against the Twitter personality. However, the otherwise successful event has been besmirched by an unfortunate incident that has left the fans of the sports fuming.

The incident took place in the undercard for the event as Armz Korleone went toe-to-toe against Malcolm Minikon in the squared circle. Korleone managed to keep up his winning streak as he defeated Minikon a second time. Notably, this fight marks his second win this year. However, the joyous occasion of victory turned sour as the fighter passed out due to exhaustion despite winning the bout. As he was awarded the win via unanimous decision, the fighter was hyperventilating and being supported by his cornerman. Soon he had to be stretchered out, though the good news is that he regained consciousness.

As the picture from the event surfaced on social media, it quickly garnered the attention of boxing enthusiasts. Many shared their concern over the boxers’ condition. One fan stated, “Someone is going to get killed in one of these events. Guy needed oxygen and urgent medical attention at the end. Instead, his corner were holding him up to hear the judges scores. Ref was shocking. That was a disturbing watch.”

Another fan took the chance to criticize the “influencer boxing scene” as he called it an “utter joke.”

Someone else called for athletes in such events to wear protective gear just like amateur boxers. The fan wrote, “Its not a game, people making money off the back of it too, shouldnt be allowed, or atleast have head guards on ffs.”

Meanwhile, one fan pointed out how dangerous the sport can be and highlighted the core problem with the incident that took place. He pointed out, “I don’t think the issue is with him collapsing, these are grown men who all know the dangers of the sport!”
