Egis Klimas, Lomachenko’s manager, emphasized that the Ukrainian southpaw is eyeing a title bout in the lightweight division. He stated, “We should expect him to be back sometime next year.” He revealed that after the fight against Haney, Loma is not looking for a fight “until the end of the year.” He also added that Loma is currently “taking it easy, doing whatever he does at home, and then next year is gonna come and we’re gonna start looking into the fights.”

Klimas also revealed that Loma desires a title fight, a point that Stevenson addressed as he took to social media. Stevenson shared the social media post discussing Loma’s plans and simply stated, “I got a belt lol.” It appears that even though he previously failed to make the fight against Lomachenko, Stevenson hasn’t given up his desired fight. It will be interesting to see if the fight can be made or not.
Ryan Garcia blasts Stevenson and calls him “Boring”
