Finally, the year’s biggest crossover fight got over. Many of those who expected an early stoppage to the match were in for a disappointment as Nate Diaz‘s legendary drag-and-play-for-time tactics came in handy to ensure the fight went the full distance. But while Jake Paul and Diaz got about their business, a side track in the plot caught the attention of a few. Eli Seckbach’s ES News shared an update on former football player and reality show star Chase DeMoor ingloriously exiting the American Airlines Arena today.

The two-and-a-half-minute clip shows the security detail escort DeMoor, who filmed the incident, towards the exit. ‘King Chase’ could be heard saying he is being shown the way out for no good reason. One of the voices, though not sure whether from the security or his team, could be heard explaining that it must have something to do with a clash a few months ago. Once he came out, DeMoor went on a rant, calling out Nate Diaz and his team.

So Chase DeMoor said, “Nate Diaz, you are the softest man on the internet. You’re scared of me. You’ve been ducking me…I’am living rent-free for months in your head.” It was at the Misfits Boxing’s X Series 006 in New Orleans that Chase DeMoor faced Stevie Knight. Unfortunately, his second professional bout on April 21 ended disastrously. A false step saw him hit Knight while down, disqualifying him. Additionally, he received a two-year suspension and a $100,000 fine.

But apart from the disqualification, one more incident concerning Chase DeMoor caught everyone’s attention. While the tournament progressed, an ugly brawl broke out between him and Nate Diaz. The latter threw a water bottle at the former, resulting in a melee. Finally, security intervened and took Diaz out of the arena.

But probably, the duo was not done. They met once again on Bourbon Street in the city. Reportedly, a street fight ensued between Chase DeMoor and Team Diaz. It happened soon after Nate Diaz choked out a Logan Paul lookalike.

Born on June 12, 1996, in Eatonville, Washington State, Chase DeMoor took to football early in life.

He started at Weed, California, located College of Sikiyous, in 2015. After that, he moved to Central Washington University for a season. The year 2020 saw him accept a contract with the Montreal Alouettes, a team in Canada’s football league. In the following two years, he joined teams such as the Arizona Rattlers, the Houston Linemen, and the Michigan Panthers. DeMoor attended the Extreme Football League (XFL) in 2023 but remained unsigned.

However, he gained widespread popularity by participating in reality shows such as ‘Too Hot to Handle,’ and ‘Perfect Match.’ Soon other programs such as Floor is Lava, Miss/Math, and In Real Life followed. His foray into boxing began last year when he fought television personality Cory Wharton on September 10, 2022. It was an exhibition bout that ended in a draw. Two months later, he fought his first pro fight against Josh Brueckner. The four-round contest ended in the second round as DeMoor retired.
