Jake Paul has made another addition to his Most Valuable Promotions, he took to Instagram to announce the news. Surprisingly, the newest addition to MVP is none other than the rising Hollywood star, Javon “Wanna” Walton. He has made quite a name for himself after his role in “Euphoria”. Moreover, he has also been working on other stories like “Utopia”, “The Umbrella Academy”, and “Samaritan.” However, don’t let the appearance fool you, the 17-year-old star has participated in over 80 bouts and has secured numerous junior amateur tournament victories as well, according to ESPN.
Though according to Boxrec, his record currently stands at (11, 5, 0). Jake Paul took to Twitter to share several pictures of him along with the young star, from the gym to them having fun in the car. There was also a video, which showed the star signing the contract with MVP. In the caption of his post, Paul wrote, “Welcome to the MVP family”. Jake himself, is preparing for a bout against MMA veteran Nate Diaz on August 10. Moreover, his name recently created a buzz after MVP made a shocking claim that Paul has remained unbeaten even after losing to Tommy Fury.
Moreover, ESPN Ringside also shared the news on Instagram. This post included a picture of Javon Walton along with Paul and Amanda Serrano. There was also a video, in which Walton showed off his impressive Mitt skills as he did the pad work. They disclosed the news in the caption of the post, writing, “Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions has signed rising Hollywood star and boxing up-and-comer Javon “Wanna” Walton, officials told”.

As the news came out, a lot of fans were left intrigued by Walton’s appearance. A lot of them pointed out the similarities with another boxing sensation, Ryan Garcia. There were a lot of fans who were not impressed by the young star joining MVP, however, others showed their appreciation for the young talent. Some fans highlight his impressive amateur background, reminding everyone that fame outside the ring doesn’t diminish one’s boxing skills.

One fan, John jokingly pointed out how the actor’s appearance is similar to Garcia’s. He wrote, “Ryan Garcia 2.0… let’s get it”. Another fan, davidcarrilho.cg asked people to not judge Walton just because of his career as an actor. He wrote, “He has 80 amateur fights and his an amateur champ. People gotta stop thinking just because this gen of boxers have fame outside of boxing they don’t box well.”
