Love him or hate him – Ryan Garcia knows how to entertain people without throwing a jab! On Tuesday, Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia came face to face, launching their press tour in New York. After a long back and forth and some interesting comments on each other, Garcia is getting ready for the next presser in Las Vegas.

In a recent pinch, the Victorville native promised to do something that would shock the entire boxing world. And after Tuesday’s drama – everyone’s left wondering what Garcia has in mind. Maybe it’s just to build hype since it’s not the first time he promised something for his press conference. Nevertheless, here’s what Garcia said on social media today!

Turning to Instagram, ‘King Ry’ wrote, “I’ll be back real soon NYC YEERR!!! (Recap Of my time in New York). Comment if you are going to be at the LA conference. I have something planned that is going to be out of the realms of imagination.”  Alongside the message for his fans, he also shared a promotional video of himself.

However, it begs the question, where will his next press conference unfold? Garcia graciously provided those details as well. In his post today, he added, “Avalon Theatre 2 pm 2-29-24 be prepared for the unexpected!!!” Moments later, Garcia turned to X (formerly Twitter), claiming, “If you thought NYC press conference was wild. LA HAS NO IDEA!!”

However, as mentioned before, this isn’t the first time Garcia has promised something for his presser. Here’s what he said prior to the NYC press conference.

Ryan Garcia fails to deliver on promise for NYC presser

Since the fight between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney was announced earlier this year, Bill Haney and Garcia have been going back and forth with each other for quite a while. On the same note, Garcia had promised a special guest for NYC, who would have helped him potentially insult Haney’s corner.

“I have a surprise for NY during the press conference… a new teammate,” Garcia wrote in a February 22 tweet. He even wrote, “Trust me when I say you don’t want to miss these press conferences.” While the first presser was entertaining for sure, Garcia also failed to bring in this mysterious teammate in the NYC presser, so who knows, his new promise for LA might be nothing but a dud.
