Ryan Garcia brands Devin the ‘Devil Haney’
Turning to X (formerly Twitter), the 24-1 boxer shared a picture of his friend with blood pouring out of his right nostril and covering his mouth. The friend in question had shared the incident on his Instagram story, claiming Haney’s team jumped him recently. So, Garcia wrote in a now-deleted tweet, “Wow, this is who you support. Look what Devil Haney did to one of my friends.”

Garcia followed that with a threatening message for Haney. “It can get real ugly, Devin, don’t take it here. You and your team can get caught slipping as well – remember that,” wrote Garcia. If that wasn’t enough, Garcia suggested that he knew where Haney runs and sleeps. So, Haney should pay his friend a sum of $100,000.

“Don’t let this get ugly. Give him 100k for his troubles, or I’m pressing charges, and it’s full-on war, so be careful and how you respond and move – thank you,” wrote Garcia. There hasn’t been a response as of yet from Haney on the allegations. However, this isn’t the first time Garcia has left a threatening message for Haney!

Garcia vows to become Mike Tyson in his fight against Devin Haney
Garcia and Haney share what seems like a lifelong rivalry. Ahead of their April 20 clash in New York, the duo have fought each other not less than six times. These bouts, of course, transpired during their amateur days, leaving both with three wins and three losses. So, the upcoming fight will be a sort of finale to determine who is better.

Yet, as the fight draws ever so close, in a now-deleted tweet, Garcia wrote, “I might bite Haney’s ears. Mike Tyson bit one ear. I’mma bite both. I’m hungry.” Garcia highlighted that Mike Tyson needed to be controlled by the cops during the Lennox Lewis fight, but an army would be needed to stop him against Haney.
