In addition to allegedly arriving drunk at the New York press conference for the Devin Haney fight, Ryan Garcia shocked the boxing community by consuming cannabis live on Instagram. On the other hand, through several questionable tweets, ‘KingRy’ announced he was in tremendous pain. Additionally, Garcia even claimed his life was under threat along with making strange assertions about the Illuminati and child trafficking.

At this, the New York Athletic State Commission wanted to evaluate Garcia’s mental health ahead of the fight against ‘The Dream’ on April 20th in Brooklyn. However, Garcia is not happy with the commission’s decision as he feels it deprives him of constitutional rights. On that note, Garcia alleged Mike Tyson fought in New York while being high on drugs.

Ryan Garcia is upset that, considering his behavior on social media which included an act of cannabis consumption on Instagram Live, the New York State Athletic Commission ordered him to a mental health evaluation. According to Garcia, this decision by the commission interferes with his constitutional rights. In Garcia’s opinion, the commission is unfairly curbing his right to freedom of speech and smoking cannabis. Therefore, Garcia said, “What is crazy is the fact that they never told Mike Tyson anything when he fought.

And I know he was high. And I know he was probably doing cocaine. But, Ryan Garcia, ‘You can’t smoke weed.’ Not you. Anybody else, ‘Yes,‘” added Garcia.  Along these lines, ‘KingRy’ added, “Well, my residency is still in California and it’s legal. So, where I currently reside, [there] weed is legal. So, I have US constitutional right to smoke weed because I’m paying California taxes.

Meanwhile, Garcia also planned to sue the NY Commission.
