Fame has its downsides, and Ryan Garcia learned it the wrong way. The famed boxer, preparing for an exciting weekend filled with a Super Bowl showdown, ran into trouble when some robbers entered his million-dollar LA house. Fortunately, the American boxer narrowly escaped a horrific incident.
‘KingRy’ dodged any mishap as he wasn’t at home when the horrific incident occurred. This is the same home he bought over a year ago at Porter Ranch, around 30 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. He turned to his Instagram handle and shared the details as he thanked the Lord for protecting him. The 25-year-old also posted a clip of the offenders taking some stuff with them.
He wrote, “They Robbed us this morning!! Praise the Lord we weren’t there. He protected me I love you God thank you. But wow. I’m here just trying to enjoy Super Bowl Weekend and they Got my team shook cause a part of them were there.”

While the California native would be fuming at the robbers for vandalizing his home while he was away, he would also be feeling fortunate to have avoided any harm to himself or his family. He was only in town to enjoy the Super Bowl clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. This incident will continue to sting Garcia, as his LA home is the first house that he bought with his own boxing money.
The $3.1 million-worth LA mansion of Ryan Garcia
Garcia purchased the house of his dreams back in November 2022, following his dominant win over Javier Fortuna. TMZ had reported that Garcia shelled out $3.1 million to buy the house of his dreams. With this hefty sum, he bought himself a luxurious abode, which is spread across 3,680 square feet.

In addition, the extravagant house has two stories, five bedrooms, and six bathrooms. Besides the amenities, the property also boasts a luxury pool, a spa, and an outdoor fireplace to give Garcia comfort whenever he is back home from training camps.
Notably, Garcia has shifted his base to Dallas, where he trains with the likes of Errol Spence Jr. under the tutelage of Derrick James. He still comes back home whenever he is not training or wants to spend some time with his family. Currently, Garcia is preparing for his much-coveted fight against Devin Haney but will spend Saturday enjoying the Super Bowl, a match where he has bet $100k.
