Mike Tyson, renowned as the youngest heavyweight boxing champion, showcases his multifaceted interests through his podcast “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson.” In a recent episode, he invited Prince Jackson, the son of the legendary Michael Jackson, to discuss various topics. One subject that stood out was Prince’s commitment to philanthropy, a legacy he inherited from his father. Inspired by his father’s legacy, Prince Jackson actively contributed to causes like child abuse, homelessness, and global hunger. He mainly works with Heal Los Angeles, a foundation that follows Michael Jackson’s original mission.

While elaborating on the issues he’s working on, Prince revealed the brutal reality of the foster care system. The foster care system provides temporary homes for children who can’t live with their biological families. Often, this separation occurs due to safety concerns like abuse or neglect. However, many kids age out of the system at 18, facing challenges like homelessness. Precisely, this issue was touched upon by Prince Jackson.

Furthermore, Prince elaborated on the harsh truth of the age limit. He told how one of the worst things happens once the kid reaches 18. Jackson added how some people will foster kids to get money. This is because they get support from the government and there are benefits for it. But as soon as the kid’s 18, they say they don’t have a legal or moral obligation to them, so they hurl them out of their houses.
