When the news of confirmation of Ryan Garcia vs Devin Haney went public, there was only one thought in people’s minds. Was Devin Haney going to keep his win streak alive, or was Garcia going to redeem him? Bruce Carrington gives his insights on Garcia vs. Haney

Carrington went to FightHypeTV in the Foster vs Nova fight. There he was asked for his thoughts about Garcia vs. Haney. He initially said, “Given from Garcia’s fight, he’s kind of like has to prove himself again and try to know kind and to try and show fans if, you know he’s going to give Devin Haney some work.” Talking of Garcia’s loss against Davis and how he has this chance to prove his abilities. He then gave his predictions saying, “ I feel like Devin Haney edges but..they fight in the amateurs. It was years ago but they still have some of the similar style” and later explaining how their styles are a match made in heaven.

Carrington fully believes that Haney has an edge over Garcia. But he also said, “ We’re gonna get an exciting fight. I honestly feel like the fight could go either way” confirming the narrow gap between Garcia and Haney, if there is any. While Carrington seems strong in his belief, does Haney himself believe in him?

Garcia and Haney plan to meet on April 20. Both of them have had six bouts in the amateurs. Before they face each other, The Dream has provided his predictions for his fight. He said, “Fireworks. It’s been a long time coming. We’re 3-3 in the amateurs, and this is number 7. It’s time to seal the deal.”

He proceeded to say, “To prove who’s the better man, who’s gotten better since the amateurs… It’s time for me to show the world how great I really am.” showing full confidence in himself and believing he will win over Garcia. He later on said, “We’ve seen Ryan quit before. And I don’t think this will be anything different” reminding everyone of Garica’s fight.
